Hey there, San Antonio! Get ready to SLAY at TeensDaySA! TeensDaySA is a celebration of health and wellness, and it’s your opportunity to learn everything you’ve ever wanted about health. Activities will include learning about mental health and meditation, body image, healthy relationships, sex ed, and more! This event was designed BY youth FOR youth, because #YOUthVoiceMatters. Enjoy food from local food trucks and make new friends at this Summit for Learning Among Youth #SLAY
This is our second year doing a TeensDaySA, which is truly created by youth and for youth. The Pod is a statewide initiative of the Texas Youth Action Network (TYAN). The Texas Youth Action Network (TYAN) uses the Positive Youth Development theory to help organizations strengthen their abilities to build Youth-Adult Partnerships (YAPs) and integrate youth voices in decision-making.
